Is GameTrex safe? Will I get viruses from your downloads?
You won’t get a virus from our website. Our downloads are carefully checked before being uploaded and we have tens of thousands of users downloading games every day. Sometimes, your antivirus software, or Windows Defender, might detect one or more files as a virus. You should ignore this and if the file was removed or taken to quarantine, you should restore that file to make sure you can install the game properly. This happens because the antivirus falsely detects the files as a virus (false positive).
What is the password?
The password for all the files you will download on GameTrex is: www.gametrex.com (if your file still isn’t opening try to copy-paste the password instead).
I’m getting a missing .dll error. How can I fix this?
- First of all, check if there is any “Redist” folder in the “Game Files” folder. If there is, make sure you install all of the software listed there.
- Make sure your antivirus (or Windows Defender) has not deleted any of the game .dll files which are required to run the game. If it has deleted them, you’ll need to restore the missing files from your antivirus quarantine.
- Download the lastest version of Visual C++ from this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads. This will solve most .dll errors
- If that doesn’t work, install Direct X from this link.
Why isn’t my game saving?
You need to run the game as an adminstrator so that it can properly create a save path. To do this, simply right click on the game icon and then select “Run as administrator”.
Another thing you should check is if your antivirus is deleting your save files. Pause the antivirus and then try to save the game again. You can also check the antivirus quarantine for any missing files.
Why does launching the game take me to the Steam store page?
You probably haven’t cracked the game yet. Inside the downloaded files (or mounted drive if you downloaded an ISO), you might see a folder called “Crack”, “CODEX”, “SKIDROW”, “CPY” or “PLAZA”. You want to open this folder, and then copy all of the items in it. Then, you want to “paste” these files into the folder you installed the game into (f you’re not sure where this is, right click on the game icon and then select “Open file location”). Select “Replace the file(s) in the destination”.
Why isn’t the game connecting online?
With a few exceptions, ALL cracked games will not work properly with online features. This is because an online connection will check if you have bought the game or not, and will know if you are running a cracked version. This is why online features are disabled.
